This was my campsite at the Winding River Resort, lucky number 13… I picked it myself.

Here was the view from the Cut Rock area of Trail Ridge Road at about 12,000 feet elevation, one of my favorite points along the drive.
Have to show you the snow piled up along the sides of Trail Ridge Road.
Safeway in Estes Park seemed to have the best gas prices.
Final sheep image for those of you who think I post to many images.
I believe that I arrived at the viewing area around 9 AM. I saw that the sheep were already there and quite a crowd had developed when I viewed them from a pullout area high above the lake.
One of the Ewes tried to get the others to follow her back up the mountain. The rest were not done eating I guess.
Traffic must be stopped when the sheep want to come down the mountain to cross the road on their way to the lake.
I promised some of the folks watching the sheep with me that I would post several images.
I often miss seeing the big horn sheep at Sheep Lake. But, not this trip. They must have visited the site for more than two hours. Fairly unusual.
