Sunday, July 23, 2017. Caught an early morning Old Faithful Geyser from the top of the hill. Went to visit Lake Jackson Lodge near the Colter Bay Campground. My image in the window reflection. Hiked up the hill beside the lodge to take in the view at Inspiration Point. Captured the image of the bull moose along the river near the Gros Ventre Campground on the south side of the Grand Teton National Park, near Jackson, Wyoming.
Friday, July 21, 2017. Lewis Falls. Advertisement for spotting scopes to watch the wolves one to two miles away! Other environment images in the Canyon area, including the Osprey nest on top of a column in the middle of the canyon.
Thursday, July 20, 2017. You always seem to run into some type of traffic jam due to a lone buffalo or a herd. Osprey nest in Lamar Valley. Wolf pups at play just outside of their den in Hayden Valley about a mile and a half from where I was viewing them. The Grizzly bears were off to my right on another hillside at about the same distance!
Tuesday, July 18, 2017. Campsite at KOA St. Mary/East Glacier. Going to the Sun Road. Treated with classic automobiles and beautiful scenery. Loved seeing the mountain goats just below Logan Pass.
Monday, July 17, 2017. A very long drive day to get back to the lower 48 states before going into Glacier National Park.
Sunday, July 16, 2017. Stopped in Watson Lakes to get a new picture of me and my traveling bear buddy, Valentine with his Alaska hoody jacket. I love these parts of the Alaskan Highway because of the wide shoulders to stop and take photos. The wildlife warning signs are a must. Pay attention if you want to get home safely!
