On August 4th, 2019, I drove my son and grandson to the Denver International Airport to catch their flight home. I camped at a KOA northeast of the airport. On August 5th, I drove to north Albuquerque. On August 6th, I drove to Cloudcroft, New Mexico for one final visit with my brother. On August 7th, I drove from Cloudcroft to my home in Helotes, Texas. Goal to return home safe accomplished! Here are a few more images from RMNP moose, marmots, pica, and elk. That’s one of New Mexico’s rest areas with much needed rainfall ahead. Those are some of Cloudcroft’s trees. And, that’s me and my traveling bear buddy, Al, arriving safe at home! Total mileage of my 2019 road trip from Texas to Alaska and back was 15,965 miles!
Always love the little rodents😉
