On September 24th, I had an amazingly wonderful day! I did my blog posts at Mouse’s in downtown Ouray while enjoying a hot cider. Lots of Jeeps here to travel on the rugged backroads that require four wheel drive vehicles. I hiked a small portion of the Perimeter Trail to get the picture of Ouray from above. I took the County Road 10 outside of Ridgway, Colorado, north of Ouray to Owl Creek Pass where scenes from the True Grit movie where filmed and then drove on to Silver Jack Reservoir. The snow scenes with golden Aspen leaves made this trip exceptional for me.
