Went with my photography friends to take pictures of Old Faithful in the dark.
Got some images of the Elk in Madison River on our way.
Took the traditional shot of Old Faithful geyser in the daylight first, then waited about 90 minutes to paint the geyser with light in the dark.
That’s the Yellowstone Lodge behind me in the self-portrait.
Since a thunderstorm was developing to the north of us, I was fortunate to get some lighting images.
I also took advantage of the stars in the night sky to capture the Big Dipper!
Great job on the lightening photos. I’m jealous.
So we did the geyser light painting and electricity did the cloud and sky painting….that was a pretty dynamic two-fer and you got it perfectly!
Enjoyed the storm photos!
